Anthony Jones have strengthened their motor fleet team with the appointment of Dave Godfrey, who joins the independent insurance broker from Arista where he was a senior underwriter for 12 years.
Dave began his career at Royal & Sun Alliance in 1997, starting work in the post room and quickly working his way up to become a senior development underwriter.
He brings with him a wealth of experience in the commercial motor sector, previously having taken responsibility for fleets of all sizes, from small SME fleets through to large fleets of over 100 vehicles, including those run by the Government. While at Arista, Dave managed the fleet book and a number of schemes for taxi, chauffeur hire and commercial vehicles.
Anthony Jones director, Steve Blackmore, who also heads up the motor fleet side of the business, said, “I’m delighted that Dave has joined our team. He is an extremely experienced motor fleet insurance practitioner, who will be an enormous boost to our growing motor fleet team.”
