With this week’s announcement of the first tentative steps to easing the Coronavirus lockdown that we have all been observing since March, comes the possibility of buildings and facilities reopening in the coming months.
Buildings which have been closed, unused and unoccupied for months can result in risks being created when you do reopen, such as restoring power and utilities. Safety will of course be paramount. Zurich, one of our insurance partners have put together a guide which looks at steps which should be considered to enable you to safely reopen your building. It is a very informative guide which provides a wide breadth of guidance and is certainly worth a read if this is an area you are responsible for.
